Yes!! Thats right! We've made it into one of the most awesome music events in Utah! We are so very very excited and can't wait to rock out for all you excellent people! BadGrass goes on from 7PM to 8PM on Friday night! New BadGrass Version!

Since the untimely demise of BadGrass 4.5.x, we have been wondering the musical paths looking for direction. Finally, after a good break and taking into consideration a great number of things. We have decided to till the soil and replant a totally new breed of Grass. Nothing can be put in solid concrete yet, we still don't know if our new mixture will even sprout. But there are great possibilities that it just might do so.

Ladies and Gentleman, I give you BadGrass 5.0. Although still an unstable release, we can promise a new product that will be mind blowing! Stay tuned for more news coming soon. Time to grow a new a patch of grass and see how it feels under our feet. Or maybe the animals will eat it all and it will die. We will just have to wait and see what happens.

Greetings all ye grassholes! I have come to give you an update about what has currently happening. We have been on a little break for the last little bit while our Bass player Mr. Doc Zippie is working out of town. Do not fear, for we have not broken up, lost it, quit, gave up or anything of the sort. In fact, the break time has gave us all time to recooperate and get back into the swing of writing new tunes and getting the newer ones solidified. In fact I just finished arranging a brand new tune today! We have alot of new material we wrote before the break that we have yet to unleash upon you as well! So stay tuned! We are in the process of getting things back up to speed and there will be gigs coming up here in the next month for sure! Thanks for sticking with us over the break, we will be back rocking it in no time with an arsenal of even newer tunes to blow your minds with!!

Ohh yea, dont forget to check out the new tune we recorded at home called "Nobody Else" you can hear it on our Reverb Nation BadGrass page (because I havnt got off my lazy ass and put it up on here yet.) This is yet another new song we are adding to the lineup for live shows. We have alot of work to do, but it's all worth it!

Earth Jam was a great sucess! We played awesome and got a great response! We are so thrilled to have been able to play at Earth Jam this year! Here are a couple videos from the show! They are a little dark since it was later, but still really good! First one is our cover of Jay Hansen's "Am I a Shadow" and the second is my new song "Wasted Time". For those of you that forgot to mark your calenders, today is Earth Jam at Liberty Park!! It is a PERFECT Spring morning and the festivities today will be a great way to spend the day. We play at 8 pm on the Fire Stage ( south stage ) and we are really excited to be invited to play. We have tons of shirts and hats for sale as well, so DON'T MISS THIS!!!

We have just been invited to play at a benefit show for Earth Jam on Thursday, April 22nd at The Woodshed. For those of you that don't know, the 22nd is the REAL Earth Day, so this is a really cool opportunity for us and you to support Earth Jam and hear some really cool tunes. We will be playing from 10:30 until 11:30 pm, and our friends The Headdies will be playing last. There will also be a DJ during the intermissions. 5 bucks gets you in and it all goes to Earth Jam Productions!!

We are also playing on the Fire Stage at Liberty Park on Saturday the 24th, from 8 until 9pm. This is a free event, and there are great bands playing all weekend, so if you miss this, you are REALLY missing out!!

New videos have been posted! They are all up now, check out our latest videos on Comcast on Demand! (Utah) They have posted 3 new BadGrass videos on the Band Wagon Live. Goto On Demand > Utah On Demand > Music - UT > Bandwagon Live and look for Badgrass! Check it out ya'll! They are pretty darn good! We are pleased, yes, things are looking up for these ole grassholes. Just wanted to update ya'll on such items.

Also remember our upcoming outdoor gig on Saturday, April 24th in Liberty Park for Earth Jam! We will be playing on the Fire Stage at around 7:45PM or so. We are the last band of the night on that stage, its gonna rock. Dont miss out!

For anyone who is interested, there is a benefit for Earth Jam tomorrow (Friday April 8th) at the Fifth Amendment in Bountiful. There are a bunch of awesome bands playing like Smoke Assembly, so if you have some extra time on Friday night, come have a few with us and support Earth Jam!

Right now the band is working hard to lock down all the new tunes I recently wrote or brought in. We should have them down solid by the time Earth Jam rolls around, and if not then.......for sure May 7th. If you have to miss out on Earth Jam (and I dont suggest that you do) you can catch us at The Fifth Amendment in Bountiful on May 7th! The beautiful and talented Sabrina Blakburn will be opening for us that night! w00T, lucky us! That should be an another awesome show. The last one at the fifth sure was, so if you have to miss Earth Jam there is another badgrass gig a couple weeks later.

We are hoping to get out on the road a little this summer and play some out of state gigs around the Western area. I've been testing the waters lately and I think it will work out great for when we do decided to get out of Utah. Thinking Pocatello or Idaho Falls would be a great starting point for now. We'll see how it goes, but I would love to get out and start spreading the love around some places other than Utah. The band is growing, our songs are growing, our sound is developing and it's about time we expand our horizons a little and see if we cant get the word out a little more.

Ohh yea, we might have a shload of cool T-Shirts coming on the way soon! So stay tuned! Finally, some BadGrass Merchandise! Who would have thunk it. I'll let you know as soon as we get more info on that.

Earth Jam Show Update!

Update on the Earth Jam show! Looks like we will be the last band of the night preforming on the Fire Stage at around 7:45-8:00PM till 9:00PM Saturday April 24, 2010. We highly recommend coming earlier though and hanging out for the whole festival, which runs April 24th and 25th. It's a great time with great music and things going on all day long!

So mark down those dates and we'll see you there!
